ENGR (MRS) OLUSEYI AFOLABI (SHEYI)

PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT / CEO

Oluseyi Afolabi retired from ExxonMobil Upstream Companies in Nigeria as the Executive Director, Commercial & Business Development on April 1, 2017. Her roles were primarily responsible for leading all commercial negotiations with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and various companies interested in either Farm-in or Farm-out opportunities with ExxonMobil.

Currently, she is the Principal Consultant/CEO of Reservoir and Facilities Solutions Limited.  An engineering consulting firm backed by her 35 years of experience in the Petroleum Sector. Primary services of the company are to rejuvenate old oil and gas fields, develop cost-effective project concepts for new fields, and provide innovative project financing options.   

Seyi joined Mobil Producing Nigeria in February 1989 as a Reservoir Engineer. During her 28 year career with ExxonMobil, she held several key technical and managerial positions, including: Snr Reservoir Engineer, Mobil Exploration and Production Technology Center, Dallas Texas, USA; Reservoir Modeling Engineer, Central Technology Office, Houston Texas, USA; Reservoir Engineering Supervisor, General Manager, Plans & Programs/New Business Development; General Manager, Commercial & Nigeria Content; General Manager, Projects Development in Nigeria; Senior Technical Advisor, Project Management and Execution, ExxonMobil Development Company, Houston Texas; Manager, Construction Support (Gulf of Mexico, Africa & Asia Pacific regions), EMDC, Houston Texas; General Manager, Project Support and General Manager, Business Development, Upstream Nigeria, Commercial.

 

During her assignment in Construction and Projects Management, she worked on several projects around the world with a total portfolio value in excess of $20 billion.

She was elevated to the Board of Mobil Producing Nigeria as an Executive Director in July 2012. In December 2015, she was also appointed to the Board of Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited (EEPNL) and Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited (Offshore East). She was the only female on the eight-man Board of Directors of these ExxonMobil upstream companies in Nigeria. She was also a member of the Upstream Nigeria Extended Leadership Team, Leadership Development Committee (LDC), and was a key Advisory Committee member of the ExxonMobil Women Interest Network (WIN).

Seyi is a 1984 graduate of Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos, Akoka. She completed her mandatory National Youth Service Corp at the Ashland Oil Company Port Harcourt in 1985 and was immediately hired as a Reservoir Engineer until February 1989.

She is an active member of the Board of Trustees of Society of Petroleum Engineers Nigeria Council, the University of Lagos Faculty of Engineering Alumni Association (UFEAA), and the Nigerian American Multicultural Council, Houston, Texas. She is a Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and a Fellow of the Nigeria Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE).

FEMI ROMILUYI

CONSULTANT

Femi Romiluyi retired in August 2018 from ExxonMobil in Nigeria as Senior Advisor, Operations, Maintenance and Reliability. In his role, he was responsible for production volume loss management, development of process improvements in production and maintenance operations; advising senior management on improvement initiatives; development of implementation strategies and providing execution guidance; management of major turbomachinery overhaul and production facilities turn-around maintenance.   

Currently, he is a Senior Consultant Project Management, Operations Maintenance and Reliability for several medium scale E&P companies in Houston Area and Nigeria.  His focus is organizational redesign, process optimization and independent project reviews for effective project delivery.     

Femi joined Mobil Producing Nigeria in March 1992 as a Systems Engineer. During his 26 year career with ExxonMobil, he held several key technical and managerial positions, including: Instrumentation Engineer, Facilities Engineer, Project Engineer, ExxonMobil Production Company, Houston, Texas, USA; Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering Supervisor,  ExxonMobil Production Company, Houston, Texas, USA; Edop Revamp Project Manager, Critical Crude Pipeline Project Manager, Functional Manager Safety, Health Environment and Quality for Development and Production Projects, Senior Program Manager Offshore Program Production Projects, Senior Manager Startup and Shutdown Operations Manager.

As project and Senior Project Manager on several projects, he managed delivery of projects with total portfolio value in excess of $5 billion.  As a Senior Manager Startup and Shutdown operations, he managed and delivered two new major facilities startup and 18 offshore and onshore facilities turn-around maintenance.

Femi is a 1988 graduate of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.  He also holds MBA degree (1993) from University of Lagos. On completion of the mandatory National Youth Service Corp in 1989, he worked with Data Sciences Nigeria Ltd and Schlumberger Wireline Company (Warri) before joining Mobil Producing Nigeria in March 1992.

Femi attended several Management & Leadership Programs in, Thunderbird School of Global Management, Glendale, Arizona; Thunderbird School of Global Management, Brussels, Belgium; Global Management School, Insead, Fontainebleau, Ile-de-France; Project Management Leadership Program, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Femi holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) License, a member of Project Management Institute (PMI), Houston Chapter and he is a Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

ROTIMI F. OGUNLOWO

Rotimi voluntarily retired from the services of Mobil Producing Nigeria January 2016 and has since been consulting in the oil and gas space relating to oil field development and production.

 

He has about 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, 26 years of which was with Mobil Producing Nigeria (an affiliate of ExxonMobil Corporation). His work experience covered new and old field development, production optimization, reservoir simulation, secondary recovery, development planning, planning and budgeting, supervisory/managerial duties in field studies, reserves assessment, reservoir management and opportunity generation group, also as technical advisor.

 

He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree (BSc) in Petroleum engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 1987. He has attended several trainings, both professional and management courses within Nigeria, the United States and in UK. These included in reservoir engineering, planning and budgeting, petroleum economics, oil and gas contract negotiation, and Enterprise Leadership Program at the prestigious Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina, USA among others. He is a member of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) as well as Nigeria Society of Engineer (NSE).

 

He served as reservoir engineering advisor in Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN) providing technical guidance and leadership to several reservoir and subsurface engineers. His role also included advising management on technical issues relating to opportunities generation, reservoir management and production optimization, reserves assessment. Before this role, he worked in Houston US from January 2009 to December 2011 as reservoir engineering regional advisor for ExxonMobil Production Company, where he held oversight functions on affiliates initially in Africa, later those of Europe, Caspian and Russia regions. His role included opportunities generation and maturation, reservoir management, reserves evaluation, working with partners where ExxonMobil had equity. He also at various times held technical lead and supervisory positions. He was also a business and budget analyst.

OGUNNUSI HENRY OLUMUYIWA

CONSULTANT

Henry Ogunnusi is a seasoned professional with 20 years’ experience in petroleum geoscience. Henry obtained a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Applied geophysics at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife in 1999 and 2007 respectively. He came out at the top of his graduating class and was a recipient of several awards.

He began his career at the office of the Shell Professor of Geophysics (OAU) in 2001. In 2002, he joined Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPNU) as an Associate Geologist. He worked with ExxonMobil for fifteen years. During his employment at ExxonMobil, he was an Integrated seismic data interpreter and primary geologist for several assets of the company. He attended several trainings in Seismic data interpretation, Field development geoscience, stratigraphy, Integrated trap evaluation, Reservoir connectivity analysis, Play and prospect Assessment and leadership trainings both within and outside of Nigeria.

As part of his development, he also worked at the ExxonMobil Development Company (EMDC) and ExxonMobil Exploration Company (EMEC) in Houston, Texas, USA, between 2003 and 2005. During his career with MPN, Henry was the primary geologist for over 20 wells drilled by Mobil Producing Nigeria.

In 2017, Henry left MPN and began a consulting career in the indigenous/ marginal fields’ space. In three years, he has been involved in numerous projects with different companies. His involvement spanned across Resource re-evaluation of two gas fields, Subsurface support for a Technical and Financial Agreement between an indigenous company and NPDC, Field Development Plan and geoscience advisory roles with First Exploration and Development Company.

DAMILOLA ADEPADO

RESERVOIR ENGINEER

Damilola obtained a Master of Science (MSc) with distinction in Oil and Gas Engineering from the world acclaimed University of Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom in 2019.  She has sound knowledge of Production Optimization, Field / Reserves Evaluation and Field Development Planning. She is trained in the Design and Optimization of Oil and Gas facilities, with knowledge in Reliability Engineering and Risk Management.  Damilola currently works as the Reservoir Engineer and is enthusiastic about transforming reservoir and production data to actionable insights for field productivity enhancement.
